PIRELLI CONFIRMED BRAND OF THE YEAR IN BRAZIL

Quatro-Rodas_bigFrom Brazil new recognition for Pirelli. The ninth Os Eleitos survey, the annual research project conducted in collaboration with the consultancy company Gfk Indicator, which asks the owners of the 40 best-selling cars in the country for their preferred brands, has just been published in Quatro Rodas magazine. The result is an index of satisfaction that classifies brands and models on the basis of their ability to meet motorists’ expectations.
Pirelli came top in the tyre category this year with a five percentage point lead over its nearest rival and is confirmed as the country’s preferred brand.

PIRELLI LATIN AMERICA STARTS THE WEEK OF QUALITY

Pirelli Latin America_Quality Campaign

Pirelli Latin America has launched a quality week. A packed programme of activities concentrated on the subject of quality with a 360° approach is taking place from 9-13 November in the factories of Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela.

Guided visits of production, to the test facility at Sumaré, to Pirelli dealers and suppliers; the five days will also include special lessons devoted to ‘effective actions’ for quality and how to motivate a people toward their realisation.

An innovative way to manage the subject of quality. The main objective of this week is to increase the attention and knowledge of everyone concerning quality, which is an integral part of the companies’ daily lives.

PIRELLI, THE NUMBER 1 BRAND IN BRAZIL

Pirelli nr 1 in BrazilAmong all brands from all sectors, Pirelli is definitively the most recognised brand by Brazilian consumers, according to the “Top of Mind” survey, a reliable market research survey conducted by the editorial team Folha de Sao Paulo since 1991, which determines the most heavily influential brands in consumers.

The survey based on 6,000 interviews carried out in August throughout 160 cities in Brazil and aimed at a public with age of over 16 years, confirms Pirelli as the most recognised brand from the tyre sector by men and women with a percentage of 42%, a historical record for this product sector, introduced in the survey in 2002.

Compared to last year, Pirelli obtained a further advantage against its main competitor, reaching a spontaneous recall of almost 5 times more.
