The entire replacement range features ELECT™ technology, which addresses the specific stresses of electric vehicles (including instant torque and higher vehicle weight) delivering a tyre engineered to endure stronger wear and tear. Yes. The entire P ZERO™ E range achieves an A rating for external noise on the EU tyre label 1. Its tread design, featuring shrinking grooves, optimal sipe angle inclination and rounded chamfers, is specifically engineered to reduce acoustic impact. ELECT™ technology further contributes up to 20% noise reduction, a key advantage for electric vehicles, where the absence of engine noise makes tyre noise more perceptible.
ELECT™ is Pirelli's dedicated technology for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. It addresses the specific demands of EVs through a dedicated compound and structure that contribute up to 10% more battery range and up to 20% noise reduction compared to equivalent Pirelli tyres without ELECT™.
The P ZERO™ E is the first UHP tyre made with more than 55% bio-based and recycled materials, reducing environmental impact. Depending on tyre size, bio-based content ranges between 29–31% and recycled content between 25–27%. It carries Pirelli's dedicated sustainability logo, identifying tyres that meet this threshold3.

The P ZERO™ E features RunForward™ technology, available across all 17 sizes at product launch as well as selected additional sizes, which allows you to continue driving for up to 40 km at up to 80 km/h in the event of a flat tyre, giving you time to reach a safe location or service point without immediate roadside intervention. RunForward™ is designed to maintain low rolling resistance and an optimal driving and acoustic experience under normal conditions. Note that this technology requires a functioning Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) on the vehicle. We recommend checking compatibility with a Pirelli authorised dealer before purchase.
