From in‑vehicle features that support safety, performance and efficiency, to real‑time road insights and shared data beyond the individual vehicle, Cyber™ Tyre unlocks the potential of tyre intelligence.

Already hitting the road with the world’s most prestigious car makers

Tyres have become a source of insights beyond the individual vehicle: by collecting data on how the tyre interacts with the road surface, Cyber™ Tyre contributes to understanding road conditions in everyday driving situations.
Towards smart roads
From tyre intelligence to smarter, connected roads.
Cyber™ Tyre is powered by advanced collaborations with leading technology partners.
The joint development agreement between Pirelli and Bosch has enabled the integration of tyre data, processed by Pirelli algorithms, into vehicles’ dynamic control systems.
Bosch contributes its expertise in hardware and software for systems such as ABS, ESP and traction control, while Pirelli provides advanced capabilities in tyre data collection, interpretation and digital modelling and simulation through its digital twin technology.

Univrses, a leading computer vision and AI company specialising in turning visual data into actionable insights for vehicles and road infrastructure, has now integrated its technology with Pirelli Cyber™ Tyre. By combining intelligent tyre data with advanced visual perception, the two technologies give vehicles a richer understanding of both the road and the surrounding environment. This supports the development of advanced ADAS and autonomous driving applications, while also generating valuable insights into road conditions and infrastructure.

Pirelli’s collaboration with RIDESense focuses on the development of virtual sensors, capable of processing vehicle data in real time to estimate multiple variables of the vehicle state such as grip and side slip angle of the vehicle.
These software‑based models complement physical sensors, enhancing system redundancy and supporting more accurate and reliable vehicle control.

With Niulinx, a spin‑off of Politecnico di Milano specialising in autonomous driving technologies, Cyber™ Tyre contribute to the development of new software functionalities for future mobility.
Applying Cyber™ Tyre in autonomous vehicle environments, the Niulinx system acts as a real‑world test platform, enabling the continuous evolution of data‑driven tyre intelligence.
