We now have with us here in Milan the first of our Brilliant Minds who successfully made it through to a two month work experience at Pirelli!
Meet Brian Shaw, our Irish boy who was “over the moon” to be joining us here at Pirelli HQ.
Brian is a 20 year old chemistry student from Tipperary, Ireland. He is currently studying at Edinburgh university so he is used to being away from home. He loves his home town and describes it as friendly, green and rainy as it rains all the time, which we suppose is why it’s called the Emerald Isle! His Value for the Future was Innovation. Brian chose this Value as he says it is relevant not only to real life but particularly to Pirelli as we are coming up with new ideas all the time and developing existing ones to constantly improve our products. Brian is working in our Research and Development lab and is discovering that “a tyre is more than just a piece of rubber”!!!
