A seconda della disciplina che pratichi e del grip che desideri, puoi scegliere tra diversi modelli di copertoni MTB in base alle loro caratteristiche.
La tassellatura dipende dal tipo di terreno che solitamente ti trovi ad affrontare con la tua MTB. Meno tassello vuol dire minore aderenza su rocce e sassi, ma anche una bici più scorrevole e una maggiore durata. Mentre un tassello più pronunciato è adatto per un terreno accidentato o fangoso.
Devi tener presente anche le misure del battistrada di un copertone da MTB. Quindi, è importante che tu sappia il diametro della ruota che monta la tua mountain bike. Le dimensioni principali sono 2 e vengono espresse in pollici, secondo la misura anglosassone: 27.5” e 29”.
