Developed by Pirelli technicians and produced in Motorsport laboratories, the Race Compound represents the perfect balance between rolling efficiency and control. Tested through countless trials, both in the lab and on the field, and immediately brought to racing—from the World Cup to the Cape Epic—it is the most high-performing compound in Pirelli’s MTB range. Designed to offer maximum control and speed across a wide variety of terrains, it ensures a safe and precise ride in every condition. At the same time, it provides excellent tear resistance, enhancing protection against punctures. Used in a single layer and throughout the full thickness of the tread, without inserts of lower-quality compounds, it ensures performance that remains consistent over time, even as the tire wears

The LITE casing is the ultimate cross-country weapon thanks to its lower weight and superior speed obtained with a 120tpi fabric construction without extra sidewall protection. The ProWALL features a sidewall protection that enhances the puncture resistance and the handling at low inflation pressure. The sidewall is reinforced with an extra layer of nylon that increases the resistance against penetration and cuts while stabilizing the tyre at low inflation pressure for a confident ride over any kind of terrain. The ProWALL is a solid option for XC racing, trail riding and enduro when paired with different carcass constructions, namely of 120 and 60tpi.
