As a distinctive sign for PIRELLI sport products, DIABLO™ POWERCRUISER™ tread pattern is developed around the flash icon: a couple of center grooves which provide directional stability and ensure even wear. The flash shape is also accountable for water draining from the center to the outside of the contact patch. The flash tails are varied in length and are distributed aside the center design, outlining mid-lean grooves. Tails are a constitutive element of the tyre behavior, providing the right flexibility, efficient water evacuation and an absolute wear uniformity. The tread pattern design of the DIABLO™ POWERCRUISER™ with slicker mid-lean areas is inspired to the DIABLO ROSSO™ IV, giving support at higher lean angles. It is characterized by a wide slick area on shoulders and mid-lean area, resulting in excellent grip and line holding while cornering.
