Slick Tires
Pirelli uses a color-coding system to differentiate the various types of tires available during a race weekend. The colors white, yellow, and red - each represent a different tire compound, with distinct performance characteristics.
In case of wet conditions we use
WET TIRES

Green
Intermediate
The intermediate tires are the most versatile option in the rain range. They work well on wet tracks without standing water, as well as on surfaces that are starting to dry. The compound is designed to perform across a wide range of conditions, offering a smooth transition between slicks and full wet tires.

Blue
Full Wet
Full wet tires work best in heavy rain, helping to move large amounts of water off the track. In very heavy conditions, visibility can become the main challenge, sometimes leading to race stoppages. The tire’s profile is designed to help reduce the risk of hydroplaning, giving more confidence when the track is soaked.
