Mugello is one of the most mesmerising circuits in Italy, offering an adrenaline-packed experience over a rollercoaster lap, with a hint of Formula 1 glamour, to anyone who is lucky enough to drive there. And those people included everyone taking part in the P Zero Experience: an exclusive series of track days from Pirelli where owners can drive their supercars as part of an incredible luxury experience. This was recently run in Italy for the third time, visiting the iconic Mugello track in Tuscany.

Some of the cars taking to the track over the course of the two days included the Aston Martin Vantage, Audi R8, Lamborghini Huracan Performante, Ferrari 488 and Porsche 911. Not only that, but participants also got the chance to sample other supercars from Lamborghini, Mercedes AMG, McLaren, Pagani,Tushek and BMW M.

GETTING TO GRIPS WITH THE DALLARA STRADALE

The new Dallara Stradale was available to experience the performance of this very special Italian supercar – both on the track as well as on the road. One of the highlights of the two-day Pirelli P Zero Experience was also some Dallara Stradale owners who were able to unleash the power of their cars on the circuit and take advantage of the packed exclusive Pirelli track day program.

PIRELLI TRACK ADRENALINE

As well as feeling the performance of Pirelli's actual tyres in action, those taking part were also able to sample Pirelli Track Adrenaline: a digital system that monitors tyre performance in real time, thanks to P Zero Trofeo tyres equipped with specific sensors to relay data – just like a virtual tyre engineer. Fitted to a McLaren 720S at Mugello, drivers can see the data on a dedicated app, while GPS tracking means that they can analyse their track sessions in exhaustive detail, including split times and fastest laps. Thanks to Track Adrenaline, they can even see if they are sticking to the ideal racing line – all of which helps to improve driving skills.

STYLE BOTH ON AND OFF THE TRACK

Guests were able to appreciate the full extent of the P Zero Experience even when they weren't out on track, thanks to time spent relaxing in the Pirelli Lounge. This was a dedicated rest area where people could chill out before taking to the track, using their down time to discover a bit more about the world of Pirelli Design: an incubator of high-end projects that develops unique design products in conjunction with trusted partners.

These include, for example, the last trolley bag in limited edition created together with Montblanc, as part of a long-standing partnership. Another attraction at the Pirelli Lounge was the Fulminea, the first fully-electric road-going hypercar made by Italian manufacturer Automobili Estrema, showcasing the technology and craftsmanship at work in Italy's ‘Motor Valley', where Estrema is based.

There were bikes too: including the Ducati Panigale V4S and BMW M 1000 RR equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, not to mention a Pinarello road bike on P Zero Race TLR tyres. Completing the special ambience in the Pirelli Lounge was a representation of Formula 1 tyres (where Pirelli is Global Tyre Partner) and high-performance road tyres, as well as a series of iconic images from the Pirelli Foundation and Pirelli Calendar.

If you couldn't make the P Zero Experience this time, not to worry: there will be other chances. Please see the link below for the remaining dates in 2021.
