On June 25, two automotive icons converged at the new Lamborghini concessionaire in Richmond, Melbourne, for an elegant, invite-only event that was unforgettable with the unveiling of the new LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR LP 700-4 PIRELLI EDITION.

After warm greetings and a few words from Zagame Automoyive Group CEO Bobby Zagame and Pirelli Australia Managing Director Andrea Clerici, guests held their breath for the announcement they had been anxiously awaiting.

As the cover pulled back, a 50-year-long quest for innovation was complete. And the striking Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition was unveiled.

The special series Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition celebrates the historical collaboration between the two brands. The partnership began back in 1963, the year the House of the Raging Bull was established, and since then all Lamborghini cars have been equipped with Pirelli tyres. The two firms share not only their Italian origins but also, and above all, a constant quest for technological innovation.

The new Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition features a two-tone exterior and exclusive equipment specifically designed by the Lamborghini Centro Stile.

The first two-tone option features matte black paint on the roof, pillars, mirrors and engine cover. The body colour provides the contrast as it will be available in Giallo Spica, Rosso Mars, Bianco Isis, Nero Aldebaran, Grigio Liqueo or Grigio Ater.

The second option has gloss black paint on what the people at Lamborghini say, the ‘upper parts of the car’ which is contrasted by one of four matte finishes on the body – Bianco Canopus, Nero Nemesis, Grigio Adamas or Grigio Titans.

As two names that share a heritage synonymous with the finest in Italian design, expectations were high for this event. After a first look at the striking Aventador, and a more thorough look at the unique contributions that Lamborghini and Pirelli have made to the automobile industry, hopes were more than exceeded, they were surpassed.
