There are various types and sizes of gravel bike tires, to adapt to the different routes and the rider’s needs.
A gravel bike’s tires differ from road bikes in that the tire section is higher and the tread pattern has more or less pronounced knobs. These features enable bikes to perform on both tarmac and uneven terrain.
There are different sizes of gravel bike tires, which are expressed according to the French standard. For example, size 700x35c corresponds to an outer tire diameter of 700mm and a width of 35mm. For more challenging terrain, gravel bike tires up to 700x45c are suitable, while on mixed terrain, 700x40c gravel bike tires are better.
