In its second year at the New York Auto Show, Pirelli Tire North America has expanded its presence to encompass the entire south concourse, drawing record crowds over Easter Weekend to its 3,300 square foot space. In addition to announcing new original equipment fitments on the newly redesigned Cadillac CTS and Lincoln MKZ, the Italian tire manufacturer was also presented the J.D Power and Associates award for highest original equipment tire customer satisfaction in the truck/ utility category. This strong showing follows on the heels of the Geneva Auto Show where Pirelli added the new La Ferrari, Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster, Maserati Quattroporte and McLaren P1 to its impressive line-up of original equipment fitments.

At the south concourse, attendees are greeted with a stable of exotic cars, including the Ferrari 458 Spider, McLaren MP4-12C, Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Lotus Evora S and Kimi Raikkonen’s 2013 Lotus Formula 1 car. Also available are six Playseat® simulators for guests to compete in ta three-lap time trial on the Circuit of the Americas track. Top times each day will be awarded Pirelli branded prizes ranging from a podium cap to a copy of the F1 2012 video game from Codemasters.

The NY Auto Show is the longest running auto show in North America, dating back to 1900 and will see upwards of 1.2 million attendees over the 10-day period lasting from March 29-April 7th.
