INNOVATIVE DESIGN AND 24-INCH WHEELS

At first glance, the Vision EQS amazes for its design. The trademark Progressive Luxury concept of the EQ range evolves into innovative, stretched “one bow” proportions in which aerodynamics and aesthetics forge a sculptural trait.

The 24-inch wheels perfectly complement the futuristic style of the vehicle. The sensual design is framed by Lightbelt edging, by the black panel and the digital radiator grille on which 188 individual LEDs play with the surrounding environment offering a fascinating effect of three-dimensional depth. Overall, this technological gem is kitted out with almost 1000 LEDs to further emphasise its sustainable, energy-saving nature.

The interiors of Vision EQS follow the Mercedes-Benz philosophy and are inspired by luxury yachts. Sustainable materials are used, including fabric containing percentages of recycled ocean waste plastic and Dynamic microfibre made from PET bottles. Furthermore, the interiors turn into a stage where human-machine interaction is achieved using the digital features of the Advanced MBUX over the entire surface. The cockpit looks like the bridge of a ship.

ELECTRIC MOTORS AND REMARKABLE RANGE UP TO 700 KM

Performance is entrusted to electric motors on both axles (front and rear), with a balance completed by the battery integrated into the floor of the car. The variable torque distribution across the axles, on the other hand, characterises the electric all-wheel drive function, which outputs 350 kW to ensure high dynamics and driving safety.
As a result of this power, the Vision EQS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4.5 seconds. Equally remarkable is the maximum range of 700 km and the quick battery recharging function, which can reach 80% in less than 20 minutes.

With the Vision EQS technology platform, Mercedes-Benz has opted for a new, fully variable platform for electric cars. Many components of this show car can be used on a wide range of vehicles, from the batteries and the interior materials to the steel, aluminium and carbon fibre blends.
