All Season SF3 range: double victory in AvD tests

Technology and performance propel the Cinturato All Season SF3 and Scorpion All Season SF3 to the top of the podium

Home Road Cars Tyres All Season SF3 range: double victory in AvD tests

The Pirelli All Season SF3 range is confirmed as an absolute leader in the 2025 All Season comparative tests, the latest of which was conducted by the Automobilclub von Deutschland (AvD), one of the most authoritative organisations in the European automotive sector. In the tests, which involved the leading four-season tyres in sizes 205/45 R17 (Mazda MX-5) and 235/60 R18 (Skoda Enyaq), both the Cinturato All Season SF3 and the Scorpion All Season SF3 clinched the top spot on the podium, achieving a “Sehr gut” (very good) rating and the title of “Testsieger” (test winner) in their respective categories.

The AvD tests evaluated performance on dry, wet, and snow surfaces, with particular attention to safety-related performance such as braking, traction, handling, and aquaplaning resistance. The Pirelli All Season SF3 range stood out for its balanced performance, safety in diverse conditions, and ability to offer uncompromising comfort and reliability. Specifically, the Cinturato All Season SF3 excelled in dry and wet braking, handling, and low noise levels, while the Scorpion All Season SF3 was the reference for SUVs, leading in traction, braking, and handling on all surfaces. The result of Pirelli's most recent virtual development techniques, the two products share cutting-edge technical solutions designed to ensure safety, durability, and driving satisfaction in every season.

Cinturato All Season SF3: braking champion

Thanks to maximum scores in dry and wet braking, the Cinturato All Season SF3 won the test, also distinguishing itself in aquaplaning resistance: a reconfirmation of the performance that earned it the “Class A” rating on the European label for wet grip. The tyre, marked with the 3PMSF symbol, also demonstrated excellent handling and effective braking on snow. The scores achieved by the Cinturato in the AvD test reflect its versatility, which has already been attested by independent Dekra¹ tests, which named it the best in its category for cumulative braking (the sum of performance on dry, wet, and snow), and recognised by the TÜV SÜD body, which awarded it the Performance Mark² for the high performance demonstrated in various driving situations.

Scorpion All Season SF3: safety and versatility, all year round

The new Scorpion All Season SF3 also secured first place in its category, confirming the characteristics announced at its launch: safety and versatility in the various conditions tested. Similar to the Cinturato, the Scorpion achieved the highest score on wet surfaces, thanks primarily to its high aquaplaning resistance. The Scorpion also boasts the “Class A” rating on the European label for wet grip. The product was also positioned at the top of the rankings on dry roads, distinguishing itself for handling, braking, rolling resistance, and low noise levels. On snow, the traction was effective, with good braking performance and valid handling, consistent with the 3PMSF marking, which is reserved for tyres that pass the mandatory tests under severe winter conditions.

Versatility in diverse climatic scenarios is the main characteristic of this product, further confirmed by independent Dekra³, tests, in which the Pirelli tyre achieved an excellent result in the cumulative braking test (the sum of performance on dry, wet, and snow).
