2025 closed as an outstanding year for Pirelli, marked by successful product test results and prestigious awards for Cyber™ Tyre technology, granted by independent organisations and specialist magazines, confirming the company's leadership in innovation and safety.

Top-tier performance in 2025 comparative tests

The new products from the P Zero, Cinturato and Scorpion families secured 27 podiums, including 15 first places out of 34 comparative tests in which they took part during the year. Among the standout performers are the models launched in 2025 for the global market: the new fifth-generation P Zero was named Best Ultra-High Performance Summer tyre by Tyre Reviews and topped the tests conducted by Auto Express, while the new Cinturato achieved two victories and two podium finishes, demonstrating a perfect balance between safety and efficiency.
The Cinturato All Season SF3 confirmed its leadership with 11 wins, while the Scorpion All Season SF3, designed for SUVs, has already recorded a victory. In the winter segment, the P Zero Winter 2 excelled, winning the tests carried out by the historic Swedish magazine Teknikens Värld. Completing the range are Pirelli's comfort- and safety-focused technologies, including Runflat, RunForward and the Noise Cancelling System.
These tyres, moreover, are among those most strongly characterised by the presence of specialties – Pirelli technologies designed to enhance benefits for motorists – ranging from puncture-resistant solutions (Runflat and RunForward) to systems aimed at reducing in-cabin rolling noise (the Pirelli Noise Cancelling System).

Products for the European market

Under the scrutiny of the market and magazine testing, the all-season segment continues to stand out. “There is not much this tyre cannot do,” is how Tyre Reviews describes the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3, the latest update of the product for medium-sized and compact cars, which in 2025 achieved eleven wins and three podiums in the comparative tests in which it took part. “It impressed with its ability to position itself as the right middle ground and to dominate all disciplines in terms of safety,” adds AutoBild Sportscars when awarding it victory.
The Scorpion All Season SF3, a product that extends the technical characteristics of the Cinturato All Season SF3 to meet the needs of SUVs, was launched in the final quarter of the year and has already secured a win. The results achieved by the All Season SF3 range earned Pirelli the titles of All Season Champion 2025 and Top Manufacturer of All Season Tyres, awarded respectively by Germany's automobile club, the Automobilclub von Deutschland (AvD), and the prestigious German magazine AutoBild.

Four awards for Pirelli Cyber™ Tyre

Equally significant was the progress of Pirelli Cyber™ Tyre, the world's first system capable of collecting data from sensors embedded in tyres and communicating it in real time with the vehicle's electronics.

This unique technology received four international awards during the year: in the United States it was recognised as the most innovative solution in the tyre sector at the Autotech Breakthrough Awards; in France it won at the Automobile Awards in the safety category; in Europe it received the SafetyBest Award from the independent AutoBest jury, representing 32 European countries; and finally, Frost & Sullivan named Pirelli Company of the Year for the innovative scope of Cyber™ Tyre — a technology that, according to the award citation, “demonstrates how digital systems are able to redefine even traditional automotive components.”
