Pirelli expands its range of tyres dedicated to the Porsche 911 by equipping the new GT3 with two excellent solutions: P Zero R and P Zero Trofeo RS. Both products are specifically designed to guarantee superior performance: they feature the ‘N' marking on the sidewall, a distinctive sign of their specific development for the 911 GT3. In particular, the P Zero Trofeo RS was born from the experience gained with the fitment dedicated to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, ‘the best semi-slick road tyre for track use' according to the international press.

P Zero R: performance and versatility for daily use

The P Zero R meets the needs of the sportiest cars and is an ideal choice for daily driving. The compound – specifically developed for the new Porsche GT3 – has been created to offer high performance on different surfaces, focusing especially on safety in the wet. The P Zero R benefits from a wide working temperature range, guaranteeing top performance even in suboptimal conditions. The tyre structure is different on the front and rear wheels to ensure ideal balance: delivering greater sensitivity and steering precision for the front tyres, allied with strength and control on the rear axle – also to manage the high loadings.

P Zero Trofeo RS: the semi-slick tyre for track driving, now also for the Porsche 911 GT3

At the top of the P Zero range, the Trofeo RS is designed for those looking for maximum performance on track. Its combination of extreme performance and consistency are key to its many strengths. Even in the most demanding conditions, it consistently maintains grip and driving precision over long periods of time, allowing the driver to fully exploit the potential of the GT3.

Born from the experience developed with the 911 GT3 RS, this tyre brings the know-how acquired in competition to the road.

From thermal to electric: the versatility of the P Zero Trofeo RS

Despite being a highly specialised product, tailor-made versions of the P Zero Trofeo RS have been developed for a number of very different models, showcasing Pirelli's ability to adapt its technology for use with 100% electric, high-performance models. Examples include the Porsche GT3 RS, the most extreme model in the Stuttgart-based manufacturer's road range, and the Taycan Turbo GT, a high-performance electric car.

Pirelli's Perfect Fit: tailor-made tyres

This new fitments follow Pirelli's Perfect Fit strategy, which is based on the creation of tailor-made tyres for each model. Thanks to the use of advanced virtualisation techniques at the R&D centres in Milan and Breuberg, there was a 30% reduction in both the fitments' development time and use of physical prototypes. An approach that combines performance and commitment in reducing environmental impact.
