Supersports, the Bentley built for pure driving. With the right tyres

The new car, equipped with P Zero tyres and the optional P Zero Trofeo RS, enhances driving pleasure by removing all unnecessary elements

One hundred years after the first “Super Sports,” Bentley revives the legendary name with the fourth generation of the Supersports, the most driver-focused Continental GT ever built. A car that breaks the mold: rear-wheel drive, two-seat cabin, weight under two tons, and a 666 hp, 800 Nm twin-turbo V8 paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Supercar-level performance: 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and a top speed close to 310 km/h.

The key role of Pirelli tyres

To enhance the power of this Bentley, Pirelli has developed two custom fitments:

P Zero™ for the standard setup, offering comfort and road performance.

P Zero™ Trofeo RS, semi-slick street-legal tyres for those seeking the ultimate track experience.

Performance that lasts: A key feature of these tyres is consistent performance even in extreme driving conditions.

These tyres are not just components. They are dynamic elements that, especially with the P Zero Trofeo RS, allow the Supersports to reach 1.3 g of lateral acceleration, improving cornering speed by 30% compared to the Continental GT Speed. The reinforced carcass and motorsport-derived tread ensure constant grip and stability even at the highest speeds.

Technology and synergy

The P Zero Trofeo RS draws on Pirelli's GT racing experience and incorporates features such as:

Racing compounds to maximize grip.

Optimized profile to reduce deformation at high speeds.

Both tyres carry the Bentley (B) marking on the sidewall, certifying model-specific customization.

This collaboration strengthens a long-standing partnership: Bentley and Pirelli have worked together for decades to combine luxury and performance, from the earliest Continental GTs to record-setting versions like the GT3-R.

Design and aerodynamics: a performance ecosystem

The Supersports is not just about power: its design is functional, with an enlarged splitter, dive planes, side skirts, and a fixed carbon fiber rear wing generating over 300 kg of additional downforce. The carbon roof lowers the center of gravity, while carbon-ceramic brakes and 22” forged wheels complete a package designed for pure driving, with the added safety of P Zero tyres.
