Home Life Lifestyle design The Pirelli 30 at its world première

The scale model was first unveiled last July at the 14° Rendez-V Marine; now the new PIRELLI 30 has been officially unveiled. The Düsseldorf International Boat Show was selected for the world première from 21st to 29th January. On display in the exclusive lounge are the latest and most successful models from Sacs Tecnorib, created in 2021 from the merger of Tecnorib srl (official licensee of the PIRELLI and P. dinghy brands) and Sacs srl. Together they produce products that stand out for their high performance, refined design, safety and on-board comfort.

THE FEATURES OF THE NEW PIRELLI 30

Among the main innovations of the well-known German show is the PIRELLI 30: this is the new entry from the PIRELLI line-up of walkaround Speedboats, designed by the hand of Ted Mannerfelt, head of the Swedish studio, Mannerfelt Design Team. The new model is a day cruiser designed exclusively in the outboard version in order to accentuate the brand's adrenaline-pumping, sporting soul. Two different bow configurations are available: a walkaround version to promote conviviality and on-board socialising, and a version that adopts the Mediterranean tradition of using the bow as a sundeck.

3 MODELS ON DISPLAY, WITH A HINT OF MOTORSPORT

In addition to THE PIRELLI 30, the PIRELLI line-up of Speedboats is also represented by the PIRELLI 35 and the flagship PIRELLI 50 in its close cockpit version. All three models display the tread pattern of the CINTURATO™ Blue Full Wet tyre on one side; this is the wet tyre used in the highest-level car competitions in which Pirelli is present as sole supplier. A tribute to Pirelli's expertise in motorsport and “extreme wet” tyres.

PIRELLI 42... PRIZE COMING UP?

THE PIRELLI 42, the first-born of the walkaround range from which other models have been developed, was also selected as a finalist in the “Tender of the Year” category of the 2023 Design & Innovation Awards organised by Boat International magazine, testifying to the group's commitment to its constant pursuit of excellence. This 13-metre Walkaround combines aggressive looks with sophisticated details and is ideal as both a tender and a day cruiser. Highly customisable thanks to a wide range of colours and materials, it has proved to be a multifunctional model that offers relaxation on board in complete safety and comfort. The award ceremony is to take place in Cortina d'Ampezzo, during the Superyacht Design Festival.
