Pirelli reaffirms itself among the world's best industrial groups in terms of sustainability and is the only one in the Auto Components sector globally in the Sustainability Yearbook 2024. Pirelli is indeed among the groups that have distinguished themselves with the "Top 1%" qualification, the highest recognition awarded by S&P Global after examining the sustainability profile of 9,400 companies. Of these, only 759 were included in the rankings based on their different performances and divided into sectors of activity.

The Sustainability Yearbook represents the only analysis of its kind based on S&P Global's Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) and is considered the main reference point for evaluating corporate sustainability performance. The analysis aims to reward companies, within their respective sectors, that have demonstrated strengths in various fields of sustainability.

Marco Tronchetti Provera, Executive Vice President of Pirelli, stated: "Being recognized again this year among the leaders in the Sustainability Yearbook 2024 confirms Pirelli's ability to integrate its sustainability strategy throughout the value chain. Concrete results and challenging objectives achieved with commitment from everyone".

The result follows the score recorded by Pirelli in the 2023 CSA for the Dow Jones Sustainability indices by S&P Global, where the company was in first position in the Auto Components and Automotive sectors of the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe indices, with a score of 84 points (revised from the initial 83).
