THE BRAND NEW LOTUS EVORA TAKES OFF WITH P ZERO
Top performer and last month «Tyre of the Year 2009» prize-winner by the «Auto Express» magazine, Pirelli P Zero is back on stage in the United Kingdom.
The British car manufacturer Lotus Cars Limited chose Pirelli P Zero to fit its brand new Lotus Evora, the supersporting car officially inreoduced on the market in Loch Lomond, Scotland early in June.
P Zero have become the reference tyres for many top performing cars and have been rated ideal to further the performances of this 2+2 hard top in terms of road-holding, handling and driving. This was also confirmed by Matthew Becker, a chief engineer at Lotus, when he mentioned the reasons that lead to the choice of these Italian tyres and pointed out their outstanding road-holding performance under all circumstances.

Seventy photographs taken by the British-Italian photographer Carlo Furgeri Gilbert: ten large-format prints and the remaining works projected on three large screens tell the story of the Pirelli facilities in Italy and abroad through the faces seen, gestures made and sounds heard at work.
Pirelli Tyre won the ‘Premio Nazionale per l’Innovazione 2009’, the «2009 National Innvovation Prize», sponsored by the Italian Entrepreneurs’ Association Confindustria as well as the ‘Premio dei Premi’ «Prize of Prizes», sponsored by the Prime Minister’s Office. «For the great contribution by Pirelli to innovation and its business results achieved through the integration of innovative ideas and tools within the daily business of its staff at all levels, and for a dynamic and integrated management of innovation as an incentive to involve the entire organization for the purpose of achieving further international growth and competition». Giorgio Napolitano, the President of the Republic, personally awarded Pirelli Tyre this prestigious prize.
