Formula 1 PIRELLI GRAND PRIX DU CANADA 2019 07 - 09 JUN

Pirelli Grand Prix du Canada

The iconic Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is a semi-permanent track, infrequently used during the year, which means that at the beginning of the weekend the track is very ‘green’ and slippery. However, there is plenty of track evolution as more rubber gets laid down throughout the weekend.
This track puts a lot of longitudinal stress through the tyres and is very demanding in terms of braking and traction. The surface provides little grip, which can lead to the cars sliding more. The rear tyres are particularly stressed at this track, due to the traction required out of the low and medium speed corners. This year, a new paddock complex is planned.
