Formula 1HEINEKEN CHINESE GRAND PRIX 201912 - 14 APR
The Shanghai International Circuit has hosted some thrilling and unpredictable races in the past and a wide variety of pit stop strategies can work at this track. Although ambient temperatures can be quite low and the surface is relatively smooth, tyre degradation is sometimes high due to the unique track layout. Overall, it is a demanding circuit for the tyres: especially the front-left. The heavy braking that is a characteristic of this track tends to put more strain on the front tyres than the rears. Some graining is also possible as the tyres cool down on the long straights.
