FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE MÉXICO 2019 25 - 27 OCT

Gran Premio de México

Mexico swaps places with the United States Grand Prix this year, the only shake-up in the order of races compared to 2018. The highlights of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City include a very long pit straight and a huge stadium section in the last part of the lap, converted from a former baseball ground, which also hosts a unique podium ceremony. At an altitude of 2200 metres, the rarefied air could produce some of the highest top speeds of the year. As well as low drag, there’s not much downforce generated. Mechanical grip from the tyres is key, so softer compounds are often nominated.
