New P Zero Winter breaks the rules of winter

P Zero, Pirelli’s most famous brand, which for more than 30 years has been synonymous with ultimate performance, takes another step forward to face the winter thanks to the new P Zero Winter. P Zero Winter is born to represent the highest level of performance in winter conditions, designed in collaboration with the best carmakers to assure the perfect fit for the performance of each car. P Zero bursts into the winter season to guarantee the same Ultra-High Performance both in summer and in winter with the new P Zero Winter. These new winter tyres, in fact, offer safety in the snow while maintaining the performance and feel of a summer tyre.

The world’s carmakers need tyres for their performance cars that can cope with the prodigious power and torque that these vehicles are capable of generating, even in low grip conditions. This convinced Pirelli to ensure that the new P Zero Winter followed the same path as its summer equivalent throughout its development, technical choices, and homologation with car manufacturers. Compound, tread pattern, and technical solutions adapt the new tyre to the road conditions typical of winter, maintaining high levels of safety and control. P Zero Winter ensures: extreme handling performance on dry; complete steering precision on wet; total control for ultra-high performance on snow. Wet and dry performances have been enhanced with a particular focus on handling in all conditions, aquaplaning reduction on straight and curve and a higher braking work. P Zero Winter improves the whole handling performance to experience the highest sporty feelings also in winter conditions, keeping high levels of safety in all surfaces.

With the arrival of the new Winter tyre, the P Zero family now offers the full range of tyre to equip the world’s most sporting and prestigious cars. P Zero Winter will be available by next winter season in 40 sizes, of which 30 homologated on some of the most performing vehicles.
