Baku is the fastest street circuit on the calendar, running through the centre of the Azerbaijani capital, with some tight 90-degree corners as well as a few straights. The track was designed by renowned circuit architect Hermann Tilke and incorporates a number of unique features such as an extremely narrow uphill section, and a straight that runs the length of the seaside promenade.
