Brunch for media and VIPs at P Zero World
To celebrate the Pirelli-McLaren partnership and 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, Pirelli hosted a brunch at the new P Zero World store. Automotive, local and lifestyle media were invited to view the video created at Silverstone GP and McLaren Technology Center earlier this year, which illustrated the strong working partnership and lifestyle benefits between the two celebrated marques. The latest McLaren models were also on display and guests enjoyed gourmet food and drinks by celebrated LA chef Ludo. From Pirelli, short speeches were made by North American CEO & Chairman, Pierluigi Dinelli, and Rafael Navarro, Sr VP of Prestige, Motorsports and Communication; as well as JP Canton from McLaren.
Pirelli and McLaren have had a strong working partnership ever since the seminal McLaren F1 was launched in 1993. Pirelli are 100% OE on all McLaren road cars and the strong synergy between the two brands extends beyond this onto the track – where Pirelli supplies tires for McLaren in motorsports competitions, notably for McLaren in the Formula One Championship and Blancpain series globally; and Pirelli World Challenge in North America.
Pirelli’s bespoke tires for McLaren use the latest construction technologies, materials and processes. These tires, marked MC1 on the sidewalls, are made in Pirelli’s state-of-the-art Next MIRS facility, the most advanced robotized tire production line in the world.
This was an informal networking event with important automotive media and figures and perfectly utilized the new Pirelli P Zero World store space in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
