The Pirelli World Challenge concluded its 2015 season at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in September, capping off an exciting season of racing with its biggest field yet, including over 115 cars taking to the track in the series’ seven classes – GT, GT-A, GTS, TC, TCA and TCB.

Pirelli World Challenge is North America’s top production based car series. This year it featured a full paddock of racecars from over 20 different manufacturers, all equipped with Pirelli’s renowned high performance P Zero racing slicks.

The last weekend of racing crowned champions in seven classes – including a close finish for Cadillac’s Johnny O’Connell who took out his fourth consecutive win in the GT class just ahead of Ferrari’s Olivier Beretta; Eric Lux (GT), Colin Thompson (GT Cup), Frankie Montecalvo (GTA) and Thompson (GTC) secured other class victories.

The Pirelli World Challenge will return in 2016 for its 27th season with 11 racing weekends. For full results from 2015 and the upcoming 2016 season, visit http://www.world-challenge.com/.
