Olimpia Highlights

• In 2001, Olimpia, a company partecipated by Pirelli & C., Edizione Finance, Banca Intesa, Unicredito Italiano and Hopa (since 2003) acquired a stake in Olivetti (now, through merger, Telecom Italia)
  
  
• Olimpia holds approximately 18% of Telecom Italia ordinary shares capital (2,407 mn ordinary shares)
  
  
• On 25 October 2007 Pirelli and Sintonia completed the sale of Olimpia for 4.16 billion euros to Telco SpA, a company held by Assicurazioni Generali SpA, Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, Mediobanca SpA, Sintonia SA and Telefonica SA.
