Chairman of Telecom Italia S.p.A. from September 2001 to September 2006.
Currently Chairman of Pirelli & C. S.p.A., of Pirelli & C. Real Estate S.p.A. and of Pirelli Tyre S.p.A.; Chairman of the Pirelli Foundation, whose aim is to promote and publicize expressions of culture and art.
Chairman of CAMFIN, a holding company, major shareholder of Pirelli & C. S.p.A..
