Born in Genoa in 1952.

After studies at the University of Milan, he completed his training in the media and real estate field. From 1975 to 1977 he was executive producer for La Biennale di Venezia; between 1977 and 1987 he held different positions in L'Espresso and Mondadori Groups (television, marketing and advertising); in 1988 he was General Manager of Carignano S.p.A. (real estate).

In 1989 Carlo Alessandro Puri Negri joins Pirelli Group as Board Member of Milano Centrale Immobiliare SpA and from 1991 as Chief Executive Officer.

Currently he is Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pirelli & C. Real Estate S.p.A. and Chairman of Pirelli & C. Ambiente S.p.A..

He also holds the position of Deputy Chairman in Camfin S.p.A, Pirelli & C. S.p.A and Gruppo Partecipazioni Industriali S.p.A. and Board Member of Pirelli Tyre S.p.A..

Board Member of Aon Italia S.p.A. and Artemide Group S.p.A..

With regard to academic and institutional positions, he is member of the Real Estate International Advisory Board of Harvard University (Cambridge) and Board Member of Istituto Europeo di Oncologia Srl, Fondazione Cerba and Deputy Chairman of Assoimmobiliare (real estate industrial association in Italy).

He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pirelli & C Real Estate SGR S.p.A., Pirelli RE Opportunities SGR S.p.A. and Eurostazioni S.p.A..
