Pirelli Eco Tecnology

Pirelli Eco Tecnology is specialised in the creation of technologies that can appreciably reduce emissions from diesel vehicles and heating plants.

The company operates on European markets with two main products:
- a low environmental impact fuel ("Gecam" white diesel), an emulsion of diesel  (90%) and water (10%) that can reduce particulate formation by over 50%;
- a  vast range of  antiparticulate filters ('Feelpure') to retrofit to commercial vehicles and for installation in new cars fruit of a technology that can reduce emissions of fine powder  by diesel vehicles by 95%.
 
All the solutions developed are the result of synergies with the  researchers of Pirellli Labs, and the scientific collaboration with international private and public research institutions.
