Giulio Malfatto

Chief Executive Officer of Pirelli & C. Real Estate S.p.A.

Born in Livorno, Italy, in 1955.

Graduated in Engineering at the University of Genoa in 1980.

He acted as Director General of SCI S.p.A., a development company based in Genoa where he was, among other things, responsible for property purchases, Managing Director of Seicom, an engineering company of the Group, Strategic Marketing Director, Director of the Development and Contracts Division.

In 1995, he joined Milano Centrale S.p.A. (now Pirelli & C. Real Estate S.p.A.), where he remained until 2003, in charge of new business development for the Group and acting as Managing Director of some of the Groups subsidiaries, such as: Pirelli & C. Real Estate Agency S.p.A., Pirelli & C. Real Estate Property Management S.p.A., Pirelli & C. Real Estate Project Management S.p.A. and Pirelli & C. Real Estate Facility Management S.p.A.

From 1995 to 1997, he acted as Director of Tertiary Asset Management. From 1998, he oversaw some major strategic projects within the Company such as: the establishment of the joint venture with the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund; the establishment of a joint venture with private partners, the purchase of approximately 50% of the portfolio of Risanamento Napoli and the purchase of CAGISA and Progetti Creativi. In 1999, he was involved in the launch and finalisation of the IPO for the purchase of the listed company UNIM.

In 2001, he was involved, among other things, in the establishment of the Tiglio joint venture, between Morgan Stanley (MSREF III and IV), Telecom Italia and Pirelli & C. Real Estate S.p.A. funds.

In 2002, he was involved in the establishment and finalisation of the stock market listing project of Pirelli Real Estate S.p.A.

In 2003, he acted as Director General Corporate Development and Services for Pirelli & C. Real Estate S.p.A.

In 2003 he commenced the Fund Management structure by establishing Pirelli & C. Real Estate SGR S.p.A. of which, in June of the same year, he was appointed Managing Director.

In 2006 he leaves Pirelli & C. Real Estate SGR to join Realty Partners, an asset management and investment company of which Mr. Malfatto is a founding partner, where he will act as Chairman through April 15th, 2009.
