He has been member of the Board of Directors of Telecom Italia S.p.A. from 2001 to 2007.

He is member and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sarint S.A., member of the Board of Directors of Interbanca S.p.A..
Within the Pirelli Group he has further covered the position of Director of Pirelli S.p.A. from May 2002 to August 2003.
He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of F.C. Internazionale Milano S.p.A. and member of Board of Directors of Gut Edizioni S.p.A..
