Born in Treviso in 1941.

In 1965 he starts with his brothers Giuliana, Luciano and Carlo, the business of the Benetton
Group, Company leader worldwide in the clothing industry and today present in
approximately 120 countries.

He is Chairman of Edizione Holding S.p.A. (where he is responsible for the investments for
both the financial and real estate sector), Sintonia S.p.A. and of Autogrill S.p.A., as well as
Director of Benetton Group S.p.A..

He is also Director of Autostrade S.p.A., Mediobanca S.p.A., Lloyd Adriatico S.p.A.
He is Deputy Chairman of Olimpia S.p.A., relevant shareholder of Telecom Italia S.p.A., where he covers the role of member of the Board of Directors.

Within the Pirelli Group he had also covered the role of Director of Pirelli S.p.A. from May 2002 to August 2003.
