What does Security mean at Pirelli?

The Security function is responsible for preventing and managing events that can impact the tangible, intangible and human resources of the Company.
It collects information in support of strategic business decisions , supporting analysis of general macroeconomic phenomena (scenarios, technologies and socio-cultural contexts) in order to protect the tangible and intangible assets of the Company.

What does it mean to grow in the SECURITY position?

SECUTITY DIRECTOR
Drafts Group Security policy, assuring compliance with business objectives and related regulations and laws. Aids audit activities and monitors audits, intervening on his own initiative in more complex situations. Co-ordinates the activities of Security Manager at subsidiary level.

SECURITY MANAGER
In relation to managing area, guarantees proper application of Group policy related to Security. Assures security activities in favor of company property and persons, acting on own initiative, if necessary. Co-ordinates and directs intelligence activity, managing emergency plan, analyzing country risk. Co-ordinates the activities of Security Specialist.
