It also handles:

• purchasing of the materials and services necessary to realise processes and products
• management of changes and cancellations of purchase orders and cancellations of contracts
• assessment of suppliers, periodically monitoring their performance

Evaluates periodically suppliers performance managing exceptions to agreements.
Researches alternative suppliers and carries out the relative approval process.
