Pirelli Ambiente is the new company formed by Pirelli to reinforce its presence in the environmental sector. Created at the beginning of 2005 following integration of the activities of Pirelli & C. Ambiente and Cam Tecnologie, Pirelli Ambiente actively engages in research for new solutions for the environment and sustainable development.

Pirelli's presence in the environmental sector stems from the awareness that proper management resource use, optimization of processes, and marketing of products with a low environmental impact represent a key to success for sustainable growth by the Group.

Pirelli Ambiente can offer the market a wide range of products with a low environmental impact and extremely high technological content. Thanks to the work of Pirelli Labs - the advanced research centre - the company's commitment is continuously aimed at increasingly eco-compatible products and processes and innovative solutions such as: materials science and the production of clean alternative energy sources that reduce the emission of harmful gases.
