MOTORSPORT WORLD

Supercross

The term "Supercross" was coined in 1972, being the first motocross event held inside a stadium in the United States. Racing promoter Michael Goodwin staged what he called the "Super Bowl of Motocross" inside the Los Angeles Coliseum in Los Angeles, California. While growing consistently since the '70s, in the early part of the 21st Century Supercross' popularity really took off thanks not only to its high level of spectacularity, but also for a heavily advertised and widespread television coverage.

PRODUCT ROLE AND POSITIONING:

SCORPION SX is a specialized development, dedicated to compete in the Supercross arena. The tread pattern is designed to perform on hard terrains, thanks to the knob layout and land/sea ratio, to give excellent grip in lean, even on “rubberized” soils.
