This season will see Mark Donnelly, take on the British Rally Championship in a Citreon Racing DS3 - R3 after being named as the 2013 Pirelli Star Driver.

After being nominated on the Rallye Sunseeker International, Donnelly was one of 7 Drivers invited to secret testing ground to test their driving talent, pace note making skills, mechanical knowledge and media presence.

The judging panel included World Rally Championship Co-driver Chris Patterson, BRC Championship Manager Mark Taylor, Motorsport News Journalist Jerry Williams, Citroen Racing Manager Jean Francois Lienere and former Suzuki WRC team manager Risto Laine. After the two day selection process the judging panel were unanimous in their verdict, and Mark Donnelly was awarded the biggest price in British rallying.

The Pirelli Star Driver Scheme has been running since 2008 and sees an up and coming driver take the wheel of a fully funded car for the duration of a British Rally Championship season.
