In early February, Pirelli Mexico met with its top tire dealers in Cancun to present the company’s 2013 business plans and premium strategy. The two-day long convention featured appearances from several Pirelli executives, including Paolo Ferrari, Chairman and CEO of the NAFTA region.

Throughout the weekend, Pirelli’s latest motto of “Think Big, No Compromises,” was reiterated. The phrase, aimed to reflect Pirelli’s North American growth, sets the tone for a new era in 2013; an era in which the company strives to challenge limitations through changes in attitude and behavior.

Managers of various sectors, including industrial, financial, logistics, marketing and sales presented Pirelli’s 2013 business plan and complete line of tires to attending distributors. From ultra high performance tires to SUV, truck and bus tires to motorcycle tires and off-the-road tires, Pirelli’s wide range satisfies all needs in a variety of different segments. This extended line of products provides dealers with a competitive edge in the marketplace. The first day’s work session wrapped up with a speech from well-known business consultant Mario Borghino.

On the second day, guests gathered for an on-track driving experience with Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Audis, amongst others. All vehicles were equipped with Pirelli’s Ultra High Performance tires, so dealers could experience first hand the development and technology of these tires. The annual Pirelli dealer convention concluded Saturday February 9th.
