NAFTA President and CEO Paolo Ferrari (center) accepts the J.D. Power and Associates award for Pirelli's win in the Performance/ Sport segment of this year's Tire Satisfaction Index.

Pirelli has built its reputation as an industry leader in consumer satisfaction, product quality and performance. With its commitment to innovation, dedication to manufacturing and selling the highest quality product available, Pirelli has developed a strong and lasting premium brand position with products American consumers want. In the span of the last 90 days, PTNA has claimed no less than three top honors for its P Zero Nero All Season ultra-high-performance (UHP) tire from JD Power and Associates, Consumer Digest and the worlds leading consumer product magazine, and a Best Buy designation from Consumer Digest for the Scorpion Verde All Season tire.

The 2013 SRT Viper, unveiled at the 2012 New York International Auto Show last week, is now fitted with Pirelli P Zero and P Zero Corsa tires.

Pirelli scored highest in the Performance/Sport segment in this year’s Tire Satisfaction Index in the 2011 J.D. Power and Associates Tire Customer Satisfaction Study. The study, which is based on consumer-reported satisfaction with OE (original equipment) tires, measured Pirelli’s overall consumer satisfaction rates in one of the company’s most popular, and storied product segments – high and ultra-high performance (UHP) tires. Pirelli tires are fitted to high-performance vehicles such as the all-new Viper, Porsche 911, Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes Benz and Pagani models, US manufacturers such as Ford – with its popular high-performance Mustang GT, and Chevrolet and its all-new Camaro SS models, all rely on Pirelli tires to connect their vehicles to the road.

“A combination of technological features eliminates the previously unavoidable compromises associated with sporty driving: performance and comfort, acceleration and braking, on both road and track, and handling in wet and dry conditions,” said Tom Gravalos, Pirelli Tire North America’s vice-president of Marketing, Motorsports and Original Equipment. “Pirelli is committed to delivering uncompromised performance while reducing impact on the environment.”
