Pirelli scored highest in the Performance/Sport segment in this year’s Tire Satisfaction Index in the 2011 J.D. Power and Associates Tire Customer Satisfaction Study. The study, which is based on consumer-reported satisfaction with OE (original equipment) tires, measured Pirelli’s overall consumer satisfaction rates in one of the company’s most popular, and storied product segments – high and ultra-high performance (UHP) tires. Pirelli tires are fitted to high-performance vehicles such as the all-new Viper, Porsche 911, Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes Benz and Pagani models, US manufacturers such as Ford – with its popular high-performance Mustang GT, and Chevrolet and its all-new Camaro SS models, all rely on Pirelli tires to connect their vehicles to the road.
