AMA SUPERCROSS

If you don’t know what’s supercross is than you probably lost something in your life! The AMA Monster Energy Supercross an FIM World Championship is an offroad motorcycle racing series produced inside stadiums across North America.
Supercross races are held in major urban markets. Supercross is the second-most-attended motorsport in the U.S., frequently selling out venues such as Angel Stadium, the Georgia Dome, and the Edward Jones Dome.

To build the track, hundreds of loads of dirt are brought in and sculpted using construction equipment. Widely regarded as the king of extreme sports, American supercross is considered the world’s premier action sports venue.
The format has qualifying heats leading to a 20-lap main event for the premier Supercross Class. The action is tight and riders often make contact. There are two 65 foot gaps on each track called “triples” that the riders soar over, often only inches apart.

Pirelli and JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha Team will continue their technical partnership through the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship season and with the recent addition of supercross rider James “Bubba” Stewart, Pirelli believes that the JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha Team of Stewart and veteran Davi Millsaps, who will race exclusively on Pirelli’s Scorpion SX tyres, has the potential to be a championship contender.
