Pirelli is today one of the most important tire manufacturers companies dealing with design, development, production and marketing of tires, in Italy and abroad, which are created for different types of vehicles and utilization: cars, light vehicles and motorcycles (Consumer sector, 70% of total revenue), buses, trucks, agricultural machinery and the production and marketing of steel cord (Industrial segment, 30% of total revenues).
In 2011 in the United States Pirelli was awarded with the prize Best Performance Tire and Excellence in Design Award.
