The I.B.S. (Interactive Brickwork Siping) technology used for the sipe pattern improves performance on both wet and dry surfaces and reduces overall braking distance. This results in an increased feeling of safety in extreme weather conditions.
The two wide lateral channels on the directional tread offer greater safety in wet weather conditions. The innovative siped longitudinal channels ensure traction for precise steering and grip in snow.
The new winter tire developed to meet all safety requirements for "city to compact cars" on roads in urban, country and mountainous conditions: providing high levels of safety in moderate to extreme winter conditions.
This is another significant advance in Pirelli’s move towards a more effective respect for the environment, without Highly Aromatic Oils in the compounds and with advanced low rolling resistance technology to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
