Pirelli signs commited revolving credit facility

Milan, 23 December 2003 – Pirelli & C. today signed a
contract for a 5-years committed revolving credit facility,
for an amount of 1 billion Euros, with primary international
banks.

Banks which jointly made available this amount are: Barclays
Capital, BNP Paribas, HSBC Bank plc, J.P. Morgan plc and The Royal
Bank of Scotland plc.

Thanks to this operation, Pirelli & C. will further strengthen
its financial structure, making it also more flexible.
