Pirelli, the Italian Interior Ministry and the Ministry for Education bring road safety to Italian schools
Rome, 6 October 2011 - Today, Pirelli signed a protocol of intent with the Interior Ministry and the Ministry for Education and Research in order to select and support joint projects and other initiatives aimed at increasing awareness among Italian drivers - especially secondary-school students and other young drivers - on the issue of road safety through education and other informational campaigns.
Pirelli confirmed as official tyre supplier to the FIM Superbike World Championship for 2013-2015 Seasons
Milan (Italy), July 27, 2011 – Pirelli has been renewed as the Official Tyre Supplier to the FIM Superbike World Championship after a new contract was signed between Pirelli and Infront Motor Sports.
2011 Monza WSBK – 150th Italy – Superpole
Monza (Italy), May 5 th 2011 – The first Italian round of the 2011 World Superbike season and the season’s home race for Pirelli Moto at the historic Autodromo Nazionale Monza occurs as Italy celebrates its 150th anniversary of unity. To honour this occasion, the Diablo Superbike qualifying tyres used during the Superpole sessions at this weekend’s race will feature three stripes coloured green, white and red along with personalized sidewall labels with the words “150th Italy” as symbols of this Italian unity.
