Creativity, research and passion give life to innovation
The 2011 edition is the result of an innovative project to go beyond mere data and tell the story, through both words and images, of the set of values and traits that are embodied in our “heart of rubber” –a blend of passion, research, creativity, ingenuity and a sense of belonging.
The 2011 annual report features the original art work of Stefan Glerum along side the numbers, and in this way the young Dutch illustrator has helped to give shape to our core values.
This new, illustrated report also includes the literary work of four international authors: the German philosopher Hans Magnus Enzensberger; the American author William Least Heat-Moon; the Spanish author Javier Cercas; and the Argentine author Guillermo Martínez.
Pirelli then invited the Milanese graphic designer Francesco Valtolina to bind all of this into a single package..
