Giovanni Perissinotto

Director of Pirelli & C. S.p.A. since May 7, 2003.

Born in Conselice (RA) in 1953.

In 1980 he joined the Financial Office of Assicurazioni Generali in Bruxelles; in 1981 he was appointed Financial Manager of the New York Branch; in 1988 he joined the Central Department at the parent company in Trieste. In 1989 he became Deputy-Manger responsible for the Italian and foreign market. In 1992 he was responsible for the Administrative Office. In 1993 he became responsible for the coordination of corporate assets at the Administration and Finance department.

In 1995 he was appointed Joint Manager responsible for the accounting and finance department. In 1996 he becomes Deputy General Manager with responsibilities ad interim for the Administration and Finance Department. In 1998 he became General Manager. In 2001 he was appointed Managing Director.

Currently he covers the following positions: Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banca Generali, Generali Properties S.p.A. and ISIM S.p.A.; Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of BSI SA; member of the Board of Directors of Generali PPF Holding B.V., Participatie Maatschappij Graafscap Holland N.V., Transocean Holding Corporation, Generali France Holding, Generali Immobiliare Italia SGR S.p.A.; Chairman of Supervisory Board of Generali Investments S.p.A.; Member of the Supervisory Board of Participatie Maatschappij Transhol B.V., member of the Board of Directors of Fiat Industrial S.p.A.; member or the "Comitato di Presidenza" of Assonime and member of the Executive Committee of ANIA and of the Executive Board of ABI-ANIA Federation.

In 2007 he was awarded the title of Cavaliere del Lavoro of the Italian Republic.
