All of Pirelli is at Bologna’s Autopromotec

From 25-29 May there is a stand at the Fair of Bologna displaying a wealth of new developments from Pirelli, which is presenting itself as a protagonist at Autopromotec, the famous exhibition of car equipment and replacement market products now in its 24th year.Much space is given over to our products. Under the spotlight are major Pirelli exhibits, like the Cinturato P1, the extremely high technology ‘green’ tyre developed for small and medium-size cars; the Serie ST:01 for trailers that minimises wear and maximises mileage and remoulding capability while reducing fuel consumption; the Diablo Rosso II, the sporting road tyre designed for two-wheel enthusiasts, which exploits the innovations and technologies of the World Superbike Championship; P Zero, the ultra-high performance tyre for supercars, derived directing from Pirelli’s experience in motor racing.

And there is no lack of winter tyres, with Sottozero Serie II, the seasonal tyre embodying a high degree of safety that respects the environment and is aimed at a wide range of vehicles, from city cars to those of the medium segment.Pirelli is also launching Formula Energy at Autopromotec, the new summer tyre for medium and small cars that ensures safety and respect for the environment.

The exhibition is a major opportunity at which to meet Pirelli’s customers, with two days of conferences programmed for Friday 27 and Saturday 28 May and a stand of no fewer than 250 square metres. On their arrival visitors will be greeted by an imposing Ferrari, testimonial to our presence in F1, and seduced by the technology and style of Pirelli. The stand is completed by a video wall with pictures from our legendary calendar.

“Autopromotec is an opportunity at which to present our latest developments and to meet operators with a view to the next winter season”, said Stefano Parisi, head of car tyre marketing for Italy. “In recent years, we have seen a real boom in the sale of winter tyres in Italy, which has grown by 45% in 2009 and 60% in 2010”, he concluded
