PIRELLLI SUPPORTS AUTOMOBILE VALUES
Pirelli is the main participant of the event “Viva l’Auto”, characterised by sustainable mobility dedicated to environmental friendly vehicles of the future, among other technical innovations and road safety. The three-day event (October 16-18) held in Florence was animated by exhibition areas, safe driving tests and a conference programme involving main players from the automobile sector, alongside institutions and the media.
Pirelli is the official co-sponsor of the event and displayed its entire ecological range Citurato as well as the latest developed winter range “Winter Snowcontrol series II”. Furthermore, Pirelli launched a new initiative for the public to establish a “record” on a tyre change challenge to provide fun interactive training on tyres.
Even Pirelli Tyre’s managing director, Francesco Gori, along with other automobile experts participated to the conference on new market growth scenarios for the automobile sector and its contribution for economic recovery.

October 18th 2009 was a historical date for the Pirelli Group as well as for motorcycle racing fans. Alongside its official team Yamaha France GMT 94 and his racing driver Sébastien Gimbert, Pirelli conquers the French Championship title in Albi, with a 55 point advantage in the final classification for the Superbike Championship 2009.
